The Gallery – The World We Live In

By | May 5, 2010

This week’s Gallery prompt from Tara at Sticky Fingers was paint a picture of the world we live in.

For this, I’ve chosen a picture I took a couple of years ago on a camping trip to Ashbourne in the Peak District.  Its a beautiful area, and we’re lucky that its only about an hours drive from us.

There are streams and rivers, hills and trees, even some stepping stones.  I’m looking forward to being able to take C here this summer.

Seems we both are lucky to live in stunning areas!

I cant wait for Ffion to be old enough to appreciate it all – I bet its the same with C!

It is a beautiful place, and your photo depicts that.

I don’t think I’ve been to Ashbourne, it looks beautiful. I visited Bakewell a few times when I was younger – a lovely place. I moved to Manchester a few years ago and am only just starting to explore the Peaks, even though they are really on our doorstep. Took the train to Hathersage last week – next trip will be Buxton!
