Weeks remaining: 6
Gifts purchased: 4
Wow, 6 weeks really isn’t a very long time at all. I managed a few small gifts again this week which I think is good. I’m going to the Trafford Centre in a couple of weeks with my mum so hopefully I’ll get quite a bit done there. We’ve never been before – are there any shops or cafes I especially need to look out for?
This week I’m talking about stocking fillers. We’ve actually received a couple of things to review in the past few weeks that I’ve been saving for this post.
First up is Peppa Pig’s little library from John Lewis.
It has 6 board books and costs just £4.49 which I think is great value and a lovely idea for a stocking filler as we love books in our house. The backs of the books also form a jigsaw so it’s also something to play with. John Lewis actually have a really nice stocking fillers section on their website for gifts costing £10 or less.
We were also sent a Firefly toothbrush. I’d never seen these before – they have a button on them which makes a light flash for one minute. One minute for top teeth and one minute for bottom teeth! Apparently they’re big in the US but have only just made their way over to the UK.
They come in a range of designs including Spidermand & Hello Kitty. I would have never thought to give a toothbrush as a stocking filler but actually it’s a really good idea. The Firefly toothbrushes are available at Lloyds pharmacy and other leading independent stockists and will be priced at £1.49- £2.49.
Do you have any unusual ideas for stocking fillers?
