The Gallery – Seasons

By | November 10, 2010

C and I took the dogs out on Saturday morning.  No pushchair, just me, C, 2 boxers and a camera.

We had great fun.  Great, slow fun but who cares?  We didn’t have anywhere else to be.

autumn

We ended up being out for an hour and a half – that’s pretty good going for a 16 month old.  I think autumn may be our new favourite season!

And another reminder that this is my new url so I’d love it if you would resubscribe to my feed.

There is nothing like a slow walk, you see so much more! Lovely autumn photos…I do love a long shadow!

Thanks. It was nice just to be able to wander around and not have to rush her

That is so cute. Walking with a toddler is slow, but if you have the right day, it’s the best thing ever.

It is! Got myself a little excited at the thought of taking her out in the snow now!

Your little one is the same age as mine so I hope she didn’t eat any of the leaves (my Tiddler eats anything he can get in his mouth!) Lovely pics.

She’s quite good actually. She did keep trying to pick up bits of rubbish though :-/

We really didn’t cover much distance! Maybe half a mile at the most!

Thanks. Her hair is getting quite out of control now!

Autumn leaves are such fun – why don’t we kick them about and pick them up and look at them more often?!!

I know. It’s lovely to see the world through the eyes of a toddler!

Hi, just dropping in from ‘The Gallery’ and love your acceptance of the ‘slow’ walk :) I find it at times wonderfully eye-opening when a toddler makes me see nature in a deeper, new light and perspective and at others darn frustrating (like when I all ‘I want’ is to get home for a cup of tea!).

Your photographs are beautiful and the second one makes me want to reach out and gather a handful of leaves to crunch.

Thank you! It was lovely to know we had nowhere to be and just to be able to wander around as slow as we wanted. I love watching C when she’s out – everything is so exciting! It makes you realise how much we just take for granted with the world when you watch her.
