Kids Mirrors from Mirrorin: A review

By | January 12, 2011

A while ago I was asked if I would like to be sent a shatterproof mirror for C’s bedroom and I happily said yes, I’d love one.

C didn’t have a mirror in her room as I wasn’t happy about putting a regular mirror in there just yet but these aren’t regular mirrors, they’re made from acrylic glass and are ten times tougher than normal glass as well as being lots lighter.

There was a rather large selection to choose from and this really did take a while.  In the end I went for the funky feet mirrors which retail at £10.50.

They come with sticky pads to put them on the wall and they look really good.  They’re just as reflective as a normal glass mirror which was something I wondered about as I thought these might give a warped reflection but I’m happy to say they’re just as good as the real thing.

My next purchase is going to be either the splash mirror or separate letters to make the word ‘splash’ for my downstairs loo when I finish decorating.  I might even treat C to another mirror too.

You can find Mirrorin at or you can follow them on Twitter as @kidsmirrors.
