Still here

By | April 1, 2011

I am still here, honest.  I just don’t seem to be able to find time to sit down & write a proper post.  I’ve either been working or in the garden and by the time I sit down at night I just flop in front of the TV or Twitter.

I’ve not had that much to write about really either.  We had a nice weekend; Saturday afternoon involved a rare child-free trip to the pub to watch football with friends then we spent most of Sunday in the garden before going to my parents for a bbq (the first of many I hope!).

I just seem to be lacking inspiration at the moment.  I want to blog, I really do, yet can’t find anything interesting to write about, hence this rather rambling, pointless post!

What do you do when you get like this?  Where do you get your inspiration from?

I know the feeling! I started to try a new technique and start writing a post or two when I got a moment and keep it in draft as work in progress. It’s not working out for me! I now have about 7 draft posts, no time to finish them and I find they don’t flow well when written in stops and starts!

I find that too. If I get an idea for a post I have to write it there and then while the idea’s fresh!

Hello! Was wondering where you were :D Glad you had a such a nice weekend. Don’t sweat the blog, it will write itself when inspiration strikes. When I get a touch of ‘the block’ I tend to spend more time reading the blog posts that pile up in my inbox and reader and something will usually spark a new post for me. Or how about the Dear So and So meme over at 3 bedroom bungalow?http://3bedroombungalow.blogspot.com/2011/04/dear-so-and-sothis-is-probably-bad-idea.html

Thanks for missing me!

I think part of the problem is that I haven’t been in the mood for reading blogs for the past couple of weeks either. Thankfully I’ve been catching up in the past few days and I think my mojo is returning!
