I’m so lucky to have been selected to become part of the Worldfoods Fusion Taste Team (go and like their facebook page here) where me & some other bloggers will take part in weekly food challenges. You’ll be able to follow the challenges by clicking on the Fusion Taste Team tab in the header.
Before all of that happens though, they’ve asked to see our kitchens. All I can say is that I’m glad they didn’t want to see this before they picked us to be on the team.
We moved into our current home in December 2009 and it’s been an ongoing renovation project. It’s getting completed slowly but the kitchen is the one place we haven’t touched, apart from ripping the old tiles up as they were all smashed anyway. When you’re both working and have a toddler to look after, renovating a property doesn’t happen overnight!
It’s not too terrible really, the cupboards are fine, we just want to change the worktops and put in a new sink, hob and flooring which is the plan in the next few months. You can all feel sorry for me though as the hob I’m using at the moment only has 2 fully functioning rings, one doesn’t work at all and another only works when it feels like it. But still, we manage, and I have my plans.
Ok, so I’ve delayed you seeing the photo for long enough.
It doesn’t look too bad in this pic does it? I’ll let you see a bigger photo when it’s finished!
