Are You There, Charley Bear?: A Review

By | July 8, 2011

We were recently sent a copy of the new ‘Are You There, Charley Bear?’ DVD to review.  I have to admit to really liking James Corden so I love that he narrates the programme!  In each episode, Charley Bear uses his imagination to play and go on adventures where he discovers new things about himself and the world around him.

C isn’t a huge television watcher but I put this on and she was hooked.  The episodes are under 7 minutes long so short enough to keep a toddler interested but I actually I think C would have been happy to sit and watch the whole DVD in one go.

From a parents point of view, I like that each episode has a message in it; don’t be bossy, like yourself how you are etc, and it’s definitely a programme that I’m happy for C to watch.

The DVD is available to buy new from all major retailers and www.hitstoreuk.com and has an RRP of £12.99.  The running time is 49 minutes and the DVD features a bonus episode as well as downloadable colouring sheets.
