Things I’d like to do by the end of the year

By | November 4, 2011

There are 57 days remaining of 2011.  Has this year been everything you were hoping for?  Has it been a good year or one you’d rather forget?

But the most important question today is:

What would you like to do by the end of the year?

My list would have to include:

  • Finish decorating the downstairs toilet – not a huge job but I seem to have lost all motivation to decorate.  Then there’s the task of getting the husband to put the cabinet, toilet roll holder and towel rail up.
  • Sort the kitchen out – we’re not going for a whole new kitchen, just new worktops, hob, sink and flooring.  The hob has been ordered for delivery in a couple of weeks and we’re hoping to go and look at worktops this weekend.  The plan is to have it done for Christmas but it will involve painting (see above point)
  • Get my ironing pile down to a manageable level – no real comment on this one, I just hate ironing.
  • Get rid of my wobbly stomach – C is far too old now to blame it on her so I need to stop eating junk and drinking lager*.  I have started on the MuTu system so I’m hoping this will help.

I’m sure there are other things but they’re the main ones.

What’s on your list?

*I only drink lager at the weekend, I promise

I would like my back to be better. Also would like to be able to exercise properly for more weightloss. And it would be fantastic if I would fall in love and not spend X-mas alone….
That is my list!
