Meal planning is back on the agenda again now that Christmas is over and done with and I’m determined to make the majority of the meals we eat healthy, or at least healthier than they were last year.
The problem I tend to have with planning meals is that for 3 days of the week M cooks as he’s home from work before me so I need to leave him instructions on either what to cook, or what to get prepared so I can cook when I get in. As we’re both trying to eat healthier we are discussing our meals more so hopefully this will work!
We’re planning to eat:
- Healthy fish & chips
- Chilli con carne
- Chicken pasta soup
- Prawn stir fry
- Slow cooker sausages in onion gravy
Of course, all the healthy eating will go out of the window on Saturday as it’s my birthday so M and I are going out for a meal. I’m currently deciding between Chinese and Indian. What do you think?
