Life is back to normal this week now the tax return deadline has passed so I can get back to trying to plan meals. After seeing Kate’s meal plan last week, I’ve also used the Sainsbury’s Live Well For Less website as a starting point for this week’s grocery shop.
As I’ve said before, the husband tends to sort tea out when I’m at work so I have to try and plan things that don’t take too much cooking. Don’t get me wrong, he’s actually a really good cook and enjoys getting in the kitchen but he doesn’t get in until around 5pm most days, picks C up from my parents then starts cooking for when I get in at 6pm so there’s not really a lot of time for elaborate dishes.
So, anyway, this week’s meals include:
- Turkey stir fry
- Thai green chicken curry
- Salmon and courgette pasta
- Chilli con carne
- Homemade vegetable pizza
