Schwartz has recently introduced a new range to their herbs and spices; Recipe Inspirations Kits. The kits contain pre-measured pots of herbs and spices to create a delicious meal.
The recipes available are:
- Tray baked Piri Piri chicken
- Creamy pan-fried pork with apple and sage
- Beef and beer stew with herb dumplings
- Rosemary roasted chicken and potatoes
I was sent the four kits to try out and last weekend I made the rosemary roasted chicken and potatoes. The recipe was really easy to follow, detailing how much herb or spice the pots contained and what else was needed. The meal took less than 10 minutes to prepare and about an hour to cook so could easily be done after a busy day at work.
The meal was delicious and the great thing about the kits is that you can save the recipe card to use again and buy the whole jars of the herbs and spices. They’re also great for reluctant cooks who might normally be put off a recipe because they don’t have the correct ingredients.
I have a cupboard full of herbs and spices but there are still lots I don’t have so will be adding to my collection so that I can make this meal again.
I still have the other 3 recipes to try out, hopefully they’ll be as delicious as this one!
