What family means to me

By | February 9, 2012

My immediate family consists of myself, my husband and my daughter.  I love having weekends off together and doing ‘family things’.  We go to the park, visit local attractions or go out for meals.  Sometimes we don’t have to go far at all, such as when we take the dog for a walk and go to find puddles to jump in.  Sometimes we don’t even have to leave the house to enjoy doing things together.

Family, to me, means spending time with those I love and enjoying each others company.

Simple.

Nickie, who blogs over at Typecast, is helping to promote CLIC Sargent and Yummy Mummy Week which is happening from 10th to 18th March 2012.

Throughout February she is posting writing prompts based around a general theme.  All you need to do is choose one, write a post then share a link back to it.

Lovely, I too value good family time, they send so much time in school now it’s nice to have them come half term.x

Ooooo, yes, I agree! Only one thing better than going out together and that’s staying in!
