Meal Planning Monday (28/05/12)

I haven’t done any meal planning for a few weeks as we’ve been on holiday, then we had a ‘make a meal out of what’s in the cupboards/freezer’ week and it’s only this weekend that we’ve done a proper food shop.

Despite the food shop, this week’s plan isn’t great.  Admittedly the shop was done on Sunday with both C and the husband which is never a good idea but we’ll make do with what we’ve got!

The plan for this week is:

  • Curry meal deal (originally bought for Sunday evening but we had a barbecue instead)
  • Lemon Peking chicken with egg fried rice
  • Red Thai beef curry
  • Chilli con carne
  • Takeaway (probably Chinese or pizza)

So, not great really but it’ll do.  If the weather stays warm we may end up substituting one of the meals for a salad instead though.

Oomph that’s quite powerful flavoured food you have this week, does C eat those type of meals? I really need to make curry for my two x

She will eat food that is slightly spicy but any more than slightly and she refuses as it’s too hot. We keep trying her though.
