Back to School with George at Asda
By Emma | September 5, 2012
The new term is upon us and I’ve been busy preparing C’s school uniform ready for her to start nursery on Monday.
C and I were invited to take part in a ‘Little Designers’ competition by George at Asda. This meant we were sent a plain white backpack and some fabric pens and paints for C to design her own school backpack.
C is only 3 so mummy may have helped out a tiny bit with some parts of the backpack but the design itself was all C’s idea. I just drew what she told me to so she could colour it in.
I was also given £20 to spend on school uniform from George and chose a cardigan, pinafore and some school shoes. They’re all really great quality and brilliant value for money. I especially love the shoes which, for £10, are a complete bargain!
Here’s C modelling the pinafore (excuse the mad hair and dirty face!)
So we’re all prepared for Monday. Now, where are the tissues?

Looks like she had fun both designing the bag and trying her new uniform on
