A few days ago we received some surprise post; a green box with pictures of monkeys on it. It turned out that the box contained a packet of Walkers new crisps, Hoops and Crosses as well as a cuddly monkey for C to enjoy.
The crisps stayed unopened for around ten seconds before C & I shared them. We were sent a packet of roast beef flavour, which is my favourite crisp flavour anyway, and these didn’t disappoint. Sometimes when crisps are advertised as healthy they don’t have a lot of flavour but these were definitely tasty and very beefy.
We all know that we shouldn’t eat too many crisps but these ones are almost healthy! They are made with 56% wholegrain which we should all have as part of a healthy balanced diet. Hoops and Crosses also contain fibre and 30% less fat than average crisps as well as containing no artificial flavours or preservatives.
Hoops and Crosses are available in multipacks in roast beef, salt and vinegar or prawn cocktail flavour. They’re available in all major supermarkets and retail at £1.59.
They will definitely be in my trolley on my next shop.
