Life’s been a bit busy with work and C starting school so I’m afraid the blog’s had to take a bit of a back seat for a few weeks and I completely missed week 36 of my bump diary so I’m doing an update at 37 weeks instead. I’m back now though, full term and waiting for baby to make an appearance!
Baby: Baby was weighing an estimated 2.52kg at my 36 week growth scan. That means he/she had put on a whole pound in 2 weeks which is great news and means they were weighing 5lb 9oz over a week ago.
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good really. Hope it continues!
Weight: I think I’ve put on about a stone and a half which is ok as far as I know!
Clothes: So bored of them!
Movement: Feeling baby but they’re now facing my back so not really getting any kicks at all just huge wriggles.
Sleep: Not great but I’m managing. It’s hard to get comfortable now and I’m waking 2 or 3 times a night.
Appointments: Had a 36 week growth scan which showed baby still following the 10th centile line which is good and just means it’ll be a fairly small baby (if the estimates are accurate anyway!)
Best moment: It has to be the fact I’ve now finished work!
Worst moment: None
Anything else: Baby seems to have turned from facing my hip to facing my back now which I’m pleased about as that’s the best position for birth. Just hoping they decide to stay that way now!
